Thank you so much to everyone who played a part in making Christmas in our classroom a success! We had a wonderful RACK [random acts of Christmas kindness] week, a fabulous Grinch party with our 5th grade buddies, and a lively and festive Christmas party [with a special visitor!] I am so grateful to be working with such an involved and invested group of parents this year! I could not do any of this without you! 
Last Wednesday, our class enjoyed an afternoon at DeGraaf Nature Center in Holland. We went through a program called "Homestead Holiday" and it was the perfect culmination of our unit on pioneers. Please check out some of the highlights in the pictures and video below (you may need to adjust the volume on the video -- some of our kiddos are quieter than others!) *Special thanks to: Beth Wilmot, Julie Gronevelt, Rod VandenBerg, and Tania Klamt for going with us! Lori and Leah have done it again! Our fabulous room moms have put together a fun and festive Christmas party for our class, but they need your help.
