Special thanks to the parent (and grandparent!) volunteers who helped us with Pumpkin Math on Wednesday!
The kids had a great time working in groups, making predictions, and investigating different properties of pumpkins. They learned about height, weight, circumference, buoyancy, force/motion, and estimating -- and then got to do some carving! On Thursday, we spent some time discussing, comparing, and graphing their findings. What a fun hands-on learning experience!
